Great point. If it were easy, everyone would do it. Take takes time, effort, and frustration to get to the promise land but it can be done. The only caveat I would add is that there has to be some sort of true north where you know your going the right direction. Your client is good because they are working with you and you’re able to steer them in the right direction but not all companies are fortunate to be working with a consultant.
